What is thaddeus golas?

Thaddeus Golas (1924 – 1997) was an American author who is best known for writing the book "The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment". He was born in Paterson, New Jersey and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Golas served in the US Army during World War II and went on to study at Columbia University.

In addition to "The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment", Golas wrote several other books on spirituality and consciousness, including "Love and Pain", "The Cosmic Airdrome", and "The Further Adventures of the Lazy Guru". His work drew heavily from Eastern and Western spiritual traditions and emphasized the importance of inner awareness and personal growth.

Golas was also a poet and musician and frequently performed at poetry readings and concerts. He lived a reclusive lifestyle and passed away in 1997. Despite his relatively low profile, his books have continued to inspire readers interested in spirituality and personal development.
